Your Classes on the Right Sunglasses

I admit. I have had my fair share of unflattering sunglasses. And you really have to know your face shape in order to find the right pair of sunglasses. But I'll leave the face shape discovery up to you and I'll tell you how to pick out sunglasses.

  • Square Shape:
    •  Generally looks likeAngular face with a strong jaw line, broad forehead and square chin. Proportional length and width.
    • Glasses to Look for- Oval and/or Round frames. Butterfly shaped glasses.
    • Example- Demi Moore has a square face and know that round glasses work for her.

  • Oval Shape:
    • Generally looks likeMostly balanced proportions. Chin is slightly narrower than forehead and cheekbones are high.
    • Glasses to Look for- You lucky people who have oval faces, most frames work for you face shape. Square, rectangular and geometric shapes which add angles to soft curves.
    • Examples- Beyonce, whit her oval face, proves she can rock ANY sunglasses.

  • Round Shape:
    • Generally looks likeFull cheeks, rounded chin with few angles. Width and length are in same proportions.
    • Glasses to Look for- Geometric shapes that sharpen facial features.  Rectangular and horizontal styles make your face appear longer and thinner.
    • Examples- Cameron Diaz made the wise decision to wear very square glasses that fit her face perfectly.

  • Heart Shape:
    • Generally looks like-  Broad forehead and wide cheek bones that narrow to a small chin.
    • Glasses to Look for-Bottom heavy frames that ad width to the lower area of the face. Narrow, round frames that soften the forehead.
    • Examples- Jennifer Aniston's narrow, square, bottom heavy sunglasses went great with her heart shaped face.
